I was pleased to see that two of my photos were chosen for the Bike MS e magazine for the New Bern ride. The shots are on the cover and page 24.
I really like cruising around the area taking pictures on those days. It's like a scavenger hunt. You meet interesting people, get to practice different kinds of shots (with willing subjects, mostly), and it's for a worthy cause.
This year, the event had 2400 participants, 450 volunteers, and has raised over $1.4 million for MS research, programs, and services, breaking a record, even in this economy.
