If you look closely (I wish I'd had a telephoto lens), you can see a couple of geese, this pair representative of the 10 to 12 that occasionally come to our back yard to eat (we must have grubs in the lawn) and snooze. Maggie, at a safe distance and under constant supervision, is intrigued by these visitors.
